Prof. Dr. Syed Atiqul Haq is a highly renowned Rheumatology Specialist in Dhaka, Bangladesh, widely recognized as one of the leading rheumatologists in the country. He specializes in treating arthritis (RA), knee osteoarthritis (OA), spondyloarthritis (SpA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and osteoporosis.
He is the Ex. Chairman and Professor of Rheumatology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) and currently serves as Chief Consultant at Green Life Center for Rheumatic Care and Research, Dhaka. Prof. Dr. Haq established Bangladesh’s first rheumatology clinic in 1991 and played a pioneering role in founding the Bangladesh Rheumatology Society, where he now serves as President.
He is an FRCP (Edinburgh) and International Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), with major contributions to rheumatology education, research, and patient care in Bangladesh.
