Prof. Dr. K.M. Akhtaruzzaman

Prof. Dr. K. M. Akhtaruzzaman is a highly experienced Cardiologist in Sylhet, with qualifications including MBBS, DCM, MCPS (Medicine), and MD (Cardiology). He is currently serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Sylhet Women’s Medical College & Hospital, where he is actively involved in academic teaching, clinical care, and research.

In addition to his institutional responsibilities, Dr. Akhtaruzzaman provides consultations at Mount Adora Hospital, Akhalia, Sylhet, offering specialized treatment for heart and vascular diseases. His chamber hours are 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm, except on Saturdays and Fridays, when consultations remain closed.
