Prof. Dr. ABM Abdullah

Professor Dr. ABM Abdullah is a renowned Medicine Specialist in Bangladesh, widely respected for his expertise in managing a broad range of conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, liver diseases, gastric ulcers, heart diseases, infectious diseases, and other chronic and complex medical problems.

He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College, followed by advanced qualifications of MRCP (UK) and FRCP (Edinburgh). Over his distinguished career, he served as Professor and Dean of the Department of Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU, formerly PG Hospital), one of the country’s leading medical institutions.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to medical education, research, and healthcare services, Dr. Abdullah has received numerous honors, including the prestigious Ekushey Padak. In 2019, he was also appointed as the personal physician to the Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Beyond his clinical and academic work, he is the author of several widely used medical textbooks, valued by students and professionals both in Bangladesh and abroad.
