Prof. Dr. Parveen Shahida Akhter

Prof. Dr. Parveen Shahida Akhter is a medical oncologist in Dhaka with extensive experience in cancer treatment. She completed her MBBS from Sher-e-Bangla Medical College (SBMC) and holds an FCPS in Radiotherapy.

She is the former Professor of Medical Oncology at the National Institute of Cancer Research & Hospital, where she contributed significantly to teaching, research, and patient care in oncology.

Dr. Akhter currently provides consultations at Medinova Medical Services, Dhanmondi, with visiting hours from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM (closed on Fridays).
