Prof. Dr. Mahmud Hasan

Prof. Dr. Mahmud Hasan is a highly respected Gastroenterologist in Dhaka, with distinguished qualifications including MBBS, PhD (Edinburgh), FCPS, FCPS (Pakistan), FRCP (Edinburgh), and FRCP (Glasgow). He is currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Gastroenterology at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital, where he is actively engaged in teaching, research, and advanced clinical practice.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Hasan consults patients at Labaid Specialized Hospital, Dhanmondi, providing expert care for liver diseases, gastric disorders, ulcers, and other digestive system conditions. His chamber hours are 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, except on Tuesdays and Fridays, when consultations remain closed.
